Carbon monoxide (CO) is a tasteless and odourless gas. It is produced by incomplete combustion. This hazard can arise in boilers, fireplaces or gas heaters. Inhaling air with an excessive CO concentration can lead to death. It is therefore very important to use a CO detector. The CO detector uses state-of-the-art electronic technology and an electrochemical sensor to achieve high sensitivity without false alarms. As soon as the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air exceeds a certain level, the detector emits both an acoustic and a visual signal. The sensor checks the CO concentration in the air every 4 seconds. The CO alarm triggers an alarm as soon as a CO concentration greater than 43 ppm is measured. The memory function makes it possible to detect whether an increased CO concentration was detected during your absence. Technical data: - Carbon monoxide alarm with electrochemical sensor (individually calibrated and tested in a CO environment) - AudioLINK function (readout of alarm information via smartphone) - Detection of CO concentrations that are hazardous to health - Sealed lithium battery, battery life over entire product lifetime (10 years) - Automatic device self-test (end-of-life indicator) - Easy to use, centrally located test/mute switch - Memory function - Integrated piezo alarm (85 dB A) - Wireless networking possible, optional wireless module (Ei200MRF) can be retrofitted - Separate status LEDs (operation, alarm, fault) - Protection class: IP20 - Includes mounting accessories for wall or ceiling installation - Test standards: CE, EN 50270:2006, EN 60335-1:1994 - Approval: BS EN 50291:2010 (Part 1 + 2) - 5-year warranty - Device service life 10 years
