Carbon monoxide (CO) is a tasteless and odourless gas. It is produced by incomplete combustion. This hazard can arise in boilers, fireplaces or gas heaters. Inhaling air with an excessive CO concentration can lead to death. It is therefore very important to use a CO detector.
